It’s hard to believe that another Lunar cycle is almost complete. The New Moon peaks at 10:06 p.m. eastern time.

I continue to learn Human Design and apply it in my own life while observing it in the lives of the people in my life who have granted me permission to create charts for them. I’m not an astrologer, but it’s hard to investigate Human Design and avoid astrology, so I follow Athen over at Mastering the Zodiac and listen to his weekly astrology forecast. That link will take you to Athen’s explanation of True Sidereal versus Tropical. In addition to that, I have begun to look at the daily transits for the major celestial bodies in our solar system in both the Tropical and True Sidereal systems. It has become a daily ritual, around 6:30 every morning. I’ve also begun posting a Word of the Day (WOTD) and Quote of the Day (QOTD) to my social media accounts. That, too, has become a daily ritual and a practice in consistency, which is much needed in my life.

On the Reiki front, in August I discovered a technique that I am calling “Heaven Meets Earth / Earth Meets Heaven” and utilizing this technique with clients. I’ve practiced a rendition of this technique on myself for about 3 years, but it came into my sessions suddenly this month and now I have a name for it! It is different than the technique I’ve used on myself, only slightly. I’ve also used it as a way to close a session. Instead of using the traditional Raku, I used this to conclude the session, and it worked beautifully.

On a personal level, Rick and I are in wedding planning mode, and we have the absolute joy of having my sister officiate our wedding. I am looking forward to having the Winter months for more wedding planning and preparations for a lovely day with family and friends in the Spring. Good things are in store.
